BioID, the leading pioneer in biometric liveness detection, has become the first ever company worldwide to successfully pass TÜV Level C testing, detecting 100% of presentation attacks (0% APCER) according to ISO/IEC 30107-3 standards.

This accomplishment sets a new benchmark in biometric security, confirming that BioID’s liveness detection technology is robust against the most advanced forms of presentation attacks, including hyper-realistic silicone masks.

About ISO/IEC 30107-3 Level C

Level C represents the highest difficulty level within the ISO standard for Presentation Attack Detection. Testing includes highly sophisticated, custom-built attack vectors crafted by skilled professionals. These are attacks that mirror the most extreme real-world spoofing threats.

BioID achieved a zero APCER (Attack Presentation Classification Error Rate). A 100% successful fake detection rate under TÜV’s rigorous independent evaluation.
