BioID at Intersec Forum Frankfurt
BioID is honored to be presenting at the Intersec Forum in Frankfurt on March 23rd, 2018. As part of the exhibition Light+Building, the conference Intersec Forum Smart Access will provide interesting topics in the fields of smart access, privacy, and cybersecurity.
With the title “Biometric Access Control and Privacy: Contradiction or Synergy?” BioID CEO Ho Chang will give insight into how biometric authentication for universal access control can be provided in a privacy-assured and customer-centric way. In times of GDPR, KYC, and AML regulations, it is important for companies to minimize personally identifiable data (PII) while at the same time being able to identify whom they interact with online. BioID addresses this challenge with its concept of anonymous biometric authentication.
Additionally, BioID will take part in the panel discussion “Smart Services & Data Privacy: Does GDPR change the rules of the game?”. The question is how biometric authentication “Made in Germany” can support the GDPR implementation of online service providers, banks, and various businesses. Adding to the necessary technical as well as operational measures to be taken for CIAM, BioID’s “Privacy by Design” concept offers a new approach to biometrics and privacy.
