Tracks both eyes simultaneously:

BioID's realtime iris finder

locates your iris with subpixel accuracy.

Iris finder

Just as with face recognition, before an authentication system can recognize an iris, it must locate the iris in the image.

BioID's iris finder technology is so accurate and fast that it can also be used in laser eye surgery to precisely locate the eye. Accuracy in iris finding is critical; if the iris isn't precisely located, it won't be able to be recognized. And because your eye moves so quickly, the finder must be fast to move with it.

Once the face has been located, the iris is located within the face using a realtime model-based detection process with live feedback. The image or video is compared with a model of a human iris using our patented algorithms.
