User registration screening

For some applications, you might want to prevent or identify when the same person creates multiple accounts. Or you may want to prevent a person whose account was blocked for misuse from opening a new account under a different name. In either case, BioID can automate the process.

When someone registers, BioID can compare the newly created biometric template to all existing reference templates or to a pre-selected watchlist, for instance blocked users. A match could trigger actions such as denying registration, asking the person if they want to link the new account to the old one, restricting account privileges, or flagging the account for human follow-up.

This feature requires that all templates to be compared with are accessible, for instance stored on a central server.
