The Board's members have made a long-term commitment to the well being of BioID and support the firm as internationally experienced experts.
Ho B. Chang, CEO & Chairman of the Board Ho Chang, founder of the Company, has been CEO and Chairman of the Board since the inception of the company. Ho has more than 17 years CEO-level experience in the biometrics and IT industry. His knowledge and long-term experience in the software and security industry, as well as his extensive experience in sales and management are essential to the successful commercialization of BioID’s technologies. He graduated from the University of Toronto in Mathematics and Computer Science and has worked for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Ontario Hydro.
Klaus G. Schroeter, CFO & Board Member Klaus Schroeter is a visionary serial entrepreneur and brings to BioID more than 20 years of CEO/CTO-level experience in the development, management, and financing of VC-backed high-tech companies. Prior to joining BioID, he founded NANOIDENT AG and led it from a startup to a global leader in printed semiconductors with a team of more than 70 scientists and industrial engineers in Austria, Germany, France and the United States. The company received several prestigious technology and business leadership awards from the Wall Street Journal, Small Times Magazine, Frost & Sullivan and others. Klaus was selected “Entrepreneur of the Year 2007“ in Austria and represented Austria as a finalist for global accounting firm Ernst & Young’s World Entrepreneur of the Year 2008. His broad technology and management background and his worldwide network of contacts with decision-makers and influencers in industry and government will be an essential asset in expanding BioID into a global biometric authentication leader.
Mag. Hannes Zehenthofer, Board Member Hannes Zehenthofer brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, international consulting and business coaching to the company. As a certified tax advisor he runs his own consulting business, specializing in international tax counseling, M&A and business coaching. Hannes is also a partner of the international consulting group “Fidas Steuerberatung Gruppe” and serves as chairman of several private foundations. He studied business administration at the University of Graz.
