Job summary Creating and managing graphic content and design of website(s) and diverse electronic and printed materials, for both business and consumer markets; development and maintenance of corporate design.
Essential job functions (includes but is not
limited to)
Corporate design
  • Develop and maintain corporate design.
  • Create and maintain logos and templates.

Web and document design
  • Design and manage website(s) in cooperation with web developer and copywriter.
  • Design graphic elements for website and various documents.
  • Create sophisticated Keynote and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Design and lay out various electronic and print materials, including brochures, white papers, financial reports, posters, and exhibits.
  • Coordinate production of printed materials with external vendors to ensure price, quality, and scheduling needs are met.
Knowledge, skill and
abilities required
  • Demonstrated creativity, innovation and knowledge of graphic design concepts.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and to visually communicate them to various audiences.
  • Graphic design experience in a marketing department or agency, preferably dealing with high tech products.
  • Skills and experience in photography; videography a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe CS4 Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat; PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
  • Experience with web content management systems; HTML/CSS knowledge a plus.
  • Experience with animation and/or video production a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including template design and management; iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) experience a plus.
  • Mac OS X.
  • Experience with MacOS X/Adobe color management, printing preparation and coordination.
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications, education
and experience
  • Completed degree program in graphic design or related field.
  • Portfolio of applicable design experience.
